as i believe a nick name is a short name from your real name, or a name that your family and relatives and close friends calls you. my name is noriko and i have no nickname.... i am interested to know what is your nickname.

Most of my officemates, college friends and family call me Kakay. My father started calling me Kakay when I was still a baby. :)

Kakay means really nothing. :) Although in some places in my country they say it is a root word of a human body part. :D

he noriko, yes my nick name is sona it means quit,nice. this name is given by my name. only mom is used this name and my sometime my brother. But in my friend circle I have no nickname.

My parents gave me the nickname Mack, derived from my real first name. But my friends gave me a new name, as they sometimes get crazy over the things I do and say. They know call me Mong, short word for Mongoloid(?).. LoL

lol i have a few nicknames, teachers in highschool called me "shrek" because my last name was similar to it. and this one person at the park called me oscar because he thought i looked like an "oscar"? :S

growing up my nickname was coconut. Because I'm hispanic but I sound and act like a country hick so my family said I was brown on the outside and white on the inside. My hubby when we first started dating called my pumkin! and to this day I'm still his pumkin.
