PayPal and the paypalobjects Problem

What's wrong with PayPal. A lot of people can't enter the site because it's held up by the paypalobjects site. What's the problem really? Is there anyone out there who can provide a legitimate solution? PayPal has not communicated the problem to members as far as I can tell and thus many are at a loss about what to do.

I have had no trouble accessing my PayPal account. I have done so in the last few days.

That's well and good. After checking the certificate that accompanies the pages that try to load, I discovered that they aren't authenticated and do not belong to PayPal. Please be warned about this and to all who use the system. My computer's security says the communication to the site may be being intercepted by a third party although it is unlikely. It does give us and all users of myLot something to be cautious about. I noted that this happened even though the url has the security label (the padlock on the right).

I tried accessing PayPal just now in another computer not connected to the one experiencing problems with PayPal and everything worked smoothly. Apparently it's a security breach in the server. While the paypalobjects problem does indeed exist, it may be being used by dubious sites as a hole to intercept traffic. Please be warned about the potential problem this may cause to users here. If your PayPal page has difficulty loading, the lower right hand url label in the window says paypalobjects, and there are error warning, do check the certificate that's associated with what's being loaded and please do what you need to do to report the problem to PayPal using a clean computer and improve your security measures.
