The Meaning of Happiness for you and me.

That is really sweet, that you are happy when you see others happy. I also like to see others happy too, it gives me so much pleasure and contentment to see my loved ones smile. Happiness is: being happy with who you are, being surrounded by loving friends and family and sharing many memorable moments with them. That is pure happiness!!

For me the meaning of happiness is the happiness of my loved ones and then happiness of all. I truly believe we cannot be happy unless and until our surrounding is happy. And we have our share of responsibilities to make sure that it is happy.

Actually there are lots of things which makes me happy...but to put it in a nut shell, I am happy when I am at peace with myself. And to feel that peace, all I have to do is do that things that are truly me. I am most happy when I am left free to do what my heart commands (responsibilities and all). Being myself - totally without inhibitions, without society approval - that is what makes me happy. All the other smaller things that make me happy are enclosed in these.

You can not make anyone happy, if you are not happy. You have to make yourself happy first. Yes, I like to make other feel happy and help others as much as I can....

I agree with you too dpk. If I see happiness in someone else because I made them happy, that makes me happy too, especially if its my son and husband. My husband always says that if I am happy then everyone is happy in our household and its true! :)

For me happiness is also the same with you I'm very happy that I don't hurt anyone arround me. Eventhough I did not give them so much happiness as long I respect them and don't hurt them I'm happy with it. And most of all I'm very happy that even though I'm luck of money my love ones are still healthy and happy.

I cannot afford to be philothrophic person like you. For me the happiness means the satisfaction I derive from my hardwork, honest work, sincere work, work with efficiency with effectiveness etc. To make others happy, I need to be happy first, then only I can cheerup others, encourage others, motivate others.

i know that everyone has their own meaning for happiness. but happiness for me, i would be happy if i achieve my life goal without hurt another people around me. i am happy if the people that i know has smile in their day. i am happy if my achievement can be useful for anothers too :) nice topic to discuss in here, my dear friend.

yes i agree with you. Perhaps happiness has its wide variety of meaning depend on the person itself. For me happiness is seeing other people happy even in the simple things in life. Making my family happy and see them smiling everyday. Loving them and feeling the love also from them. Also feeling the love from the people you love like friends, special someone and also the very important is feeling the love of God. His continue guidance throughout my life. The life that he has given. That is happiness.

Happiness is something that one can give and take most easily. I am happy in the company where I feel comfortable. Where I know the opposite person likes me as Hi deepak , how are you today. I am, nothing is hidden from him/her. I am accepted as I am. so I feel very satisfied inside me and feel happy. Making others happy is very easy if you really want to make someone happy. The key to spread happiness is sweet tongue which showers only sweet appreciating words that will never hurt anybody's feeling and make even a stranger feel at home. For me when my family is happy i am also happy and it makes me complete when they are in good health and in good condition.

I feel happiness when I am aorund my young people that I love so much, when I aam at chuch with my brethren, when I play with my daughter or help her through some problems, when I make life a little easier for some one less fortunate than I and when what I do makes someone laughs from the heart until it reaches to the eys. Its an amazing transformation to see!

I am like you in that I am happiest when I have done something to make someone else happy or to help someone who needs it. I also like to give my husband gifts for o reason, just because I may see something in the store that I think he might enjoy or could use. Helping others really gives me true enjoyment. I think that is why I am enjoying mylot so much. Perhaps I can pass on some helpful advice to someone or brighten someone's day by letting them know they are not alone in how they feel.

Who knows the right definition of Happiness.The meaning of happiness differ from person to person.It depends on the nature of persons.I think making others happy will be the difficult thing.I think who makes others happy knows the right meaning of happiness.
