SO, do you?
I am the most distracted person in the world. I"m always thinking about so many things at the same thing that I often forget what I"m carrying, where I left something....
I loose specially umbrellas, gloves, or books when I take one to read on the bus. SOmetimes money, often a whole shopping bag, once my backpack - thankfully I ran back to the taco bell where I had left it and they had it there:)
I start out being very careful because I know that I have a tendency to loose things, but as the time passes I start thinking about something else and there is that poor scarf left on the bus LOL
There was only one time that I didn't loose my umbrella and I so wanted to. It was a present from my aunt and I hated it, it was too colorful and too... it was an ugly umbrella. Knowing that I used to loose all my umbrellas I wasn't too worried, I knew I would loose it soon. But maybe because I was always hopping to loose it - this thinking about it - I always remembered the darn thing LOL It was the umbrella that I had for longer time heheheh
But tell me, do you loose things?

Haha. It's funny you should say that. I lose things every day too. Usually it's just little things, like coins. It's funny cos the one place I always lose my things in is the place that I stay in everyday. I've lost a lot of CDs and books here. But I might have just misplaced them. Outside of the house, I rarely lose things. It's like I'm hyperaware of what I bring out. Although I've lost my bag once. Not sure if the operative word is lost cos someone stole it.

Stealing doesn't count LOL It was not your fault :)
At home I tend to loose keys and small things that I have in my hand and them leave somewhere without thinking where.
Once I was looking for my house keys for a few days. I thought I had lost them outside, but I knew it was impossible because I had to have them to open the door to get in.
I finally found them in the fridge LOL I came home with some fruit I bought and somehow I put the keys in the bowl with the grapes!!!!

Did you try the fridge LOL maybe you'll find your keys there as well hehehehehe
YOu really sound like me. The thing is often when we have something in our hand and are thinking about something else, it's easy to put that particular thing somewhere without even noticing where.. and then that's ir.. hard to remember where we put it :)

Haha. That's cute.
I lost my keys about a week ago too. Unfortunately, I still haven't found it. *sniff* I'm not even sure if I lost it at home or elsewhere. So everyday, I have to knock on the gate and wait till someone opens it for me.
I misplace my cellphone everyday as well. Sometimes it takes days to find and it usually ends up the one place I never thought of looking. This is the part where I'd usually slap my forehead for my idiocy.

I just follow you. I am unable to keep the things in its place, because I am always in a hurry and later on keep searching for it. It is my wife and my brother who alsways keep things in its place and never make any search any time. All hand bags are kept in one place. Watches have their own place, so keys are hung on key-board. Dresses are ironed and put in the hangers whereas used ones are always in the bin waiting for wash. Shoes in its place and the socks in its place. it requires a lot of patience and probably because I always have my wife to get the things, I must have developed habit of keeping things all over.

Ok, I have to admit. Sunglasses, gloves, scarfs, umbrella are always missing. It is middle of winter and I already missed few single gloves. When walking my dogs I have to wear black on right hand and red on left...lol

I am going to buy cheap gloves from Old Navy. They may have good sale. My gloves last only 1/2 of the season anyway...

You think you're the only one, my friend? I think not, since I always feel to carry all the burden this world has to offer. I don't the reason why, but I guess I've been like eversince I was a teenager. I worry of things, even if it don't have any direct affect on me.
Loosing a personal belonging for me, would really trouble me for quite some time and emotionally bother me. But I do my best to try not to think much about it, though it does pop outta my head even if it happened for quite a long time. Maybe it's because I value too much of my possessions, be it simple stuffs like books or baseball caps.

I have the habit of doing it sometimes.
With the house I'm living in at the moment being quite large, I do put things down then need to think about where I had placed them. I did it even more at my parents because they've got a lot stuff all over and I had the worst time finding it. Kates like it too, although way worse.
It's normally me having to look too!

Yes i do, I have even put my phoone in the fridge and leftovers in the microwave. I once left my purse in a church in a town 15 min. away and had to drive back and ask the pastor to go reopen the church. That was embarrassing.
When I get like this I know it is time for some relaxing and downtime, or to talk over something that is bothering me with someone.

LOL,yes i do.I tend to loose my main set of car keys alot,my favorite slippers,my eye brow tweezers and my daughters mittens. She tends to take them off in a store and i forget where i put them or she will either lay them on a shelf somewhere and then i have to call when i get home for them and then go back and get them, haha. My keys are the biggest problem in the stores,at home or even in my car somewhere by carelessly setting them down somewhere and forgetting, haha!!I never lost my daughter yet though, hahaha!!!When she was little i would forget though that i had her in the backseat when driving, because she was soo quiet.I forgot she was there, haha. But remembered when getting out though,i at least had enough sense for this right?!lol.

Searched high and low for my keys the other day, 3 of us searching the flat. My fella returns home picks up a box the was on the floor and low and behold there are the keys on top of the box. Crazy how something can be under your nose and you can't find it.
