is awake.Doctors say they have never seen anything like it: A window washer who fell 47 stories from the roof of a Manhattan skyscraper is now awake, talking to his family and expected to walk again. Alcides Moreno, 37, plummeted almost 500 feet in a Dec. 7 scaffolding collapse that killed his brother.Somehow, Moreno lived, and doctors at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center announced Thursday that his recovery has been astonishing.
How many miracles have you had in your life? Nothing so dramatic as this for me. My child has been my miracle. What about you?

That's really amazing. To fall off 47 stories of a building and still live? Just wow. Lucky guy. I don't really believe in miracles, but now I'm having second thoughts. There has to be a logical explanation about it. Maybe he fell on a bush or something. I'm sorry to come off as cynical. But there definitely could be a more plausible explanation for it. Still, if there isn't, then I guess there really are such things as a miracle. Thanks for sharing about this, it's so cool.
Finding my better half has been the best miracle that I've ever had. Or have.

This proves that if it's not yet your time, you won't die no matter what. That guy probably still has a mission to complete in his life.

Hello dear ersmommy. I feel so happy for this lucky guy. He must have been held with the hand of God that saved him. It is a real miracle of him to stay alive from the falling. It is really a narrow escape. We have a saying that a person from a narrow escape would enjoy a peaceful life and longevity later on after this. Bless him.

Wow that is amazing. True miracle and he should be counting his blessings...my goodness...both my children are my blessing and miracles I received from God and I am truly happy with them and my life is a whole lot better because they are here but gosh that is an amazing story...
