how do you pay your bills?

I pay most of my bills on-line, I feel it saves lot of my time and it is convenient too.

I pay my telephone bill by cash at their center. My electricity bill is deducted from my salary. My milkman and newspaper guy pick up the cash from my doorstep. I drop a cheque for my credit card bill. So far I have never used the internet to pay for any of my routine bills.

I'm actually not sure how its done LOL I dont take care of the bills...my husband does..he's the banker and Mr Fixit of the house, I'm everything else ;-)

I enjoy the versatile ways of paying bills. It depends mainly on the nature and situation concerned. My son who stays outstation most of the time and I are used to transfer money mutually to settle bills through ebanking. Here, in my place I have pay the water bill at the payment as it couldn’t be paid online.

I only have one bill myself besides rent that i have to pay, my internet, phone, long distance, and cable are all on one easy bill, and i pay it every month online. The rent comes out of the bank via post dated checks to the land lord.

it depends what type of bill it is . and waht payment facility is avilable . If there is online payment i will defenitely prefer that . It saves lot of time and hassel.

I've had a lot of trouble in my lifetime with paying bills! They always seemed to catch me when I didn't have any money by surprise! It took me a lot of years, but I came up with a system that works for me! What works for me the best is;; I make a list of the bills I know I need to pay with the day they are due and the amount! I keep all my money in the bank, so the day they are due, I write a check for them,(either mail or take it to them) Then I cross them off my list, and I have a check stub to tell me when I paid it! This keeps them bills from sneaking up on me! I don't use online bill paying, because I can't remember which ones I've paid, and this way I have a list, and a copy of the check!

I like to pay with credit card. And our electricity, gas etc. bills are paid by bank account by itself. Every month the bank will take money from our account.

I have set up all my bills on my bank account and I pay all my bills over the phone. I just have to put money into my account and then phone from home to pay my bills. I like this method because then I am never late paying them. I used to go to the bank to pay them and I hated that and usually ended up paying them late.
