Loom knitting

Do anyone of you loom knit? I crochet, loom knit and I can needle knit but I don't like to. I just wondered if there were any other loom knitters here! I finished a late Christmas gift last night, a scarf, and I'm less than half a skein away from being done with another, both made with fun fur. What are you making?

Yes, I do and I love it. I bring my looms and skeins of yarn to work with me and knit through my lunch break. I like using the loom because it allows me to do things like watch TV while knitting and I only need to glance at the loom every once in awhile to make sure it's coming out okay.
I believe I can knit a full-length scarf faster with the loom than knitting needles.

ACK! I don't like to use needles. They make better back scratchers! :) I do have a scarf that's more than half done on my needles now, but I'm only struggling to finish it because I don't like doing it. I bring my looms to work with me sometimes as well. I just created a yahoo group for loom knitting last night. I was a member of one, but they were really snotty, so I left and created my own. I can give you the link if you want!

Yes I do, I like it better then knitting with the needles and I love crocheting and I crchet everything especially at christmas time. I think of it as a special made gift made from the heart. I just bought my little sister her own loom set for Christmas with the instructions to make a purse and it was with the fuzzy stuff. I am trying to atleast get one person interested in it in my family. With all this technolgy for the kids to plug theirselves into nowdays the days of learning to knit or crochet or use a loom is getting almost scarce. Nobody wants to learn anymore so I am glad my little sister will carry it on and hopefully stick with it and teach her children maybe like my mom taught me. I made tons of stuff purses,pillows,scarves,booties,and tons more.

I am new to loom knitting. I've had the round looms for about 5 months and just got the set of long looms for Christmas. So far all I've made are hats and scarves. My friend bought me a knifty knitting pattern book for christmas. I has instructions to make toys and bottle warms and even ababy sweater. I know there are lots of patterns on the internet, but I'm having lots of trouble learning any other stitch but the e wrap. I'm working on it though and hope to be alot better in a few months. Nice to see other loomers on here :)
