I get those a lot. Nothing today but I do know exactly what you are talking about. I always wondered if there was something I should be doing about it. I dont know medicine or something. It just seems to come and go when it wants though so its hard.

The only way I can deal with 'Eeyore days' is try to find something that will cheer me up. I don't have too many days like that, but when I do, I DO.....
Sometimes we just need to let them take their course. Other times, we need to do things that will get us out from under that cloud.
Call a friend, go window shopping, listen to up beat music, take a long, hot bath.....or a nap. It will be gone soon.

Seems like as soon as I stop those happy things the feeling comes back though. It does just have to run its course I think. I hate to feel like that but there isnt much you can do. It is just weird because there is nothing particular that makes it happen.

Maybe you need to have a checkup? I bought me some St. John's Wart to help. It keeps me pretty level.

My butt was there. No one was home. I ended up sittin' on the bar stool all alone.

My day is not going too bad, (although things still seem to be hard for me I know it's only temporary) I just wanted to send you a little bit of good cheer! I hope that you are able to turn your day around and have something great at the end of the day to share. We sometimes have to have bad days to realize that when we think we have it bad, someone else, somewhere else in this world...has it worse. As the day goes by, I hope that your frown turns into a smile and that all the bad that you dealt with up until that point doesn't matter anymore. Take care, be blessed, and always positive.

Thanks purpose,,,,
Thanks for the good cheer......it worked. My day ended up on a positive note. The bad makes the good all the better.

Hi Terilee
I seem to have those days more often than not, and the reason I have them is because I refuse to get excited about mundane things, I can't get my head around how exciting it is to house clean, or clean out closets, gosh even dusting leaves me cold, now a good game of pogo, or emails to answer from friends is a whole lot of fun, I am saying I find my fun where I like and not where others do, I know people who find an afternoon with their ironing board spiritually uplifting, while I use my iron as a door jam, hay it works for me, and my best and most fun is making up the most outlandish letters to friends and family, it is a great time for me and they get a real hoot out of it. so I guess I am saying don't look for fun make your own

Yea, you're right Robin....if you don't make your own, don't be down when you can't find it in someone else.....thanks.....I ended up with a positive note....and today is much better. The rainy cloud is lifted - although I'm still a bit confused about the weather..lol

i have been feeling like that for about a month. i have had a viral infection (which caused me to be in the hospital for a good week at the beginning of dec) it just wont go away, it makes me feel really tired but not sick enough to stay home from work :-(

I hope your day gets better too cher. Viral infections aren't fun - I know. Luckily I haven't had one in years. I take like 500 miligrams of Vit C 3 or 4 times a day to help. I never get sick - thank goodness - I just 'sometimes get the blues'.

That's funny, I had an old friend who would call her husband eeyore because he would have that blah feeling, she called herself tigger because she was bouncy. I then said that I was like rabbit, loves to garden and is organized and that my husband was like pooh, who had an "oh bother" attitude..lol
Well, I hope your out of your eeyore stage now..:)
