Persons, female or male, practising the types of 'majick' available can be called whatever they wish; however, if it is proof you need, go to your local alternative healing shop where herbals, natural soaps, and unusual stuff is sold. Look into books on 'the craft' in your local library and most of all look outside of your religion and theological studies as those will sway you from opening your mind and believing in such truths that little is known about via documentation. sharing the light and happy new year, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment_Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire http://www.enlightenment-psych.net/paranormal.htm

The term witch and wizard comes from variations of wise. In the old days they were the consultants to rulers, the medicine man or medicine woman, the one you went to with your problems. They knew the secrets of herbs and the powers of the earth. Christianity came along and took these respected people and made them evil. They did this for totally selfish reasons. By turning people against their past beliefs they could get them to turn to their beliefs. In the past 50 years there has been a resurgances of wicca, and other pagan practices. Some are just believers in the powers of nature and the earth, but some are again finding how to use herbs and crystals and magic to help people again. The witches of today are students and are again becoming the wise ones who you can turn to when you have problems.

i totally agree with you i dont believe that they exist in the literal sense either. There are people that practise witchcraft over the world but that doesnt make them real. There are people that are obsesed with vampires and live in the dark, dress in black and maybe drink blood but that doesnt mean that real vampires exsist.

Depends on your interpretation of what a witch/wizard is. If you mean it in the Harry Potter sense, then maybe but they hide real well if so. If you mean in the general sense however then yes, they do. Millions of us exist in different forms as pagans, wiccans, healers and witches. It can be a religion, a life choice or simply a Craft. Information can be easily found in spiritualism secitons in bookstores, or in the thousands of sites all over the internet. If you want a first hand experience there are plenty of gatherings and events such as witchfest. hope this helped Birdie -

The answers no plain and simple. There are people that practise magic but i think that which craft is more of a religion or a way of life to these people but the actual concept of real magic doesnt exsist and there is also no proof to argue with the fact really
