Are there any amateur movie makers here? I think that Hollywood needs some new stuff!! What do you think? It seems like they just keep remaking the same old stuff over and over again! I want something new to see. I am not very creative or I would make some but just want to know how you feel about that. Thanks!!!

Re-makes tend to be money makers. At least some of them. Case and Point. Do you remeber a movie called Ransom with Mel Gibson and Renee Russo? Did reasonably well at the box office, right? Few know that it is a re-make of a 1950's film of the same name starring Glenn Ford. Or going back a few years to a movie called Against All Odds with Jeff Bridges? Re-make of a movie called Out of the Past from the 40s with Robert Mitchum. Been going on for a long time.Amateurs have been making episodes of Star Trek for a while. And people have taken some notice. If Novices want to I say let them try. At least it may be fresh!
