I have read in one blog that we can now receive payments from paypal through our credit cards. This is a big development because we can send payments only through paypal but we cannot receive money through our paypal account Has anybody from the Philippines been receiving payments from Paypal? I tried to ask paypal through their site but I got no answer. Though I read it their site on how to receive payments - that we can now withdraw money through our credit card. What credit cards do they accept? Anybody from PI can give us info on this?

I have read that you can use union bank's eon card to withdraw payments from your PayPal account. Check out union bank's website www.unionbankph.com better yet drop by any union bank branch. Downside is, it takes quite a while to receive your card. It took 3 weeks before I got the card. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information driver_erning. At least we can now withdraw payments from paypal. I read in a blog that he got his using his Citibank but was charged 6%- just like doing a cash advance withdrawal from a credit card. I will check from Union bank too.

driver_erning, I have applied online at Union Bank regarding the Eon card in the link you gave me. I will pick it up in 5 days time in our local branch here. It can be used for Paypal withdrawal of cash from ones account and it can also be used for other bank transfers nationwide and international. This is a welcome news because we can now join a lot of earning activities using Paypal. It used to be in our country we can only send payments thru Paypal but not withdraw payment from our accounts.
