Caught in the middle

Right now I feel sick to my stomach because I got caught in the middle of a mess for no reason. I'll give the short version of the story. Someone I barely know wrote a blog (which gets over 1,000 hits a day) about a woman I barely know. However, the woman and I don't get along because she has done certain things in the time that I have known her to make me angry. I've spoken about these things with the woman and we have discussed it. I still don't like her, but to me that matter is over. So blogger wrote a pretty scathing entry on the woman and because I am loosely linked to the blogger, she assumed I am in the one who fed him the information. I have not talked to the blogger in over six months, he has his own issues as it seems with her not me. Yet, I am so angry over the whole situation as to why my name would get dragged around in it. I am sitting here at stewing because I try to keep out of other people's business and when I have something that needs to be resolved, I deal with it without resorting to childish means. I spoke to a middle party because I do not have her phone number. Told him I had nothing to do with it and if she wants to discuss this to call me instead of accusing me of things behind my back. This was about three hours and I have not heard from her yet. I'm still so angry about it. How you would guys handle it?
