I think basketball is the most popular sport all over the world. It only attracts lots of people to watch it, but also many people like to play it in usual. It is a very common sport.

It is not up to me. The most popular sport all over the world is Soccer or Fubol.Everybody plays it. It is the most beloved sport in Europe. They play it in Africa and Asia. The World Cup is a Huge event. Even the Americans are starting to get better at it.Women and girls play it too . Even female children of Islam play it. So it crosses racial, political and even religious lines.And it is fun to watch. The rules are easy to understand and learn.

I feel football has largest followers of the game than any other sport in the world. In India, unfortunately cricket has largest following than football.

Soccer seems to be played world wide. I like American football and baseball. However, a lot of sports are starting to appear world wide like basketball, tennis, etc.
