after i got my dog fixed he ran away for two days before he came back. now it is past the time for him to go back to the vets office to get some stitches removed after i got him fixed. he is two weeks past due to have them removed. does anyone know if this can harm him if he isn't already dead. i don't know what happened to him since i haven't seen him in two weeks. i hate not knowing what happened more than if i did know. it's almost like if one of your children dissapeared.

dogs don't normally run away. Dogs are normally close to their owners. If you care much about your dog's stitches, you should go and find her. When you have found her, be sure to put her somewhere where she can't run away anymore.

I can tell you that I had some stitches for about two weeks, longer than needed all they did was leave a nasty scar...so it shouldn't kill the dog. I guess the real question is wht the dog ran away. Was it a particularly painful procedure?
