Are Love and GOD one and the same?

I believe that GOD is love but I don't think that love is God. GOD is the epitimy of love and nothing comes close to that. You can love so many different people things etc. but that doesn't make those things GOD like. Love is an emotion but GOD is all things.

I suppose that's a very pantheistic way of looking at it. personally I see deity as life, rather than as love. love is an important part of life though. to me, Gods are manifestations of the force that makes us something other than a biological machine. that force is what makes the difference between us and a TV or a computer. I do beleive that force is in all living things, including animals, plants and even rocks and soil. not a Christian myself, so my view of Gods has never been of a bearded chap on a cloud. my view of Gods is that in their true form they are formless, but vast, they are the spark that is part of everything, and connects everything. I also beleive that it is possible to have a personal relationship with that vast and formless energy, but to do so we clothe the energy with a physical appearence and form more similar to our own. so I suppose I would say, Gods are not Love. God are Life. both a part of us and a separate entity.

Yes, God is love and Love is God. And because God love us. If there is no love, there is no God. Thats why if we believe Him, we alway love ourself and love others. And that is the ultimate goal of God. To deliver the spirit of love to all mankind.

I think God is Love, but love is not God. How do i explain this? Well, God is intrisically love. But we should not make love into our God. and worship the quality of Love instead of God eternal who is himself more than just Love.

i think pure love is god.even if god is the creator the judge and everything those who dont know to love another will not beleive in god .god will always love everyone who love others.god taught us love and we follow it. those who hav true love can indeed look upon god as a friend or a close one rather than looking him as a creator according to me everyone has god inside us it may be any form so if we love each other we will love god
