I am a fairly new correctional officer.I've seen some things that are making me want to work in a different division of the jail.Please post your experiences.

i have 2 cousins that are correctional officers and have heard some stories.. some good and some bad... what division are you in and what division would you like to go to.. maybe that might help with some of the stories that my cousins have told me or that i have seen when having lunch with them...

I am in the jail division I usually work inthe housing units.I think I may want to go to administration , probations or parole.The worst part is my coworkers.Its like being hazed.There is also a rumor mill thats pretty annoying and rank doesn't do anything to control it.The work culture is terrible.
