Do you make your own cleaners? Ok so the question speaks for itself. I am asking this question because I have recipes for homemade cleaners but I am just wondering do they really work? If so which ones work? This is something I am interested in because it should save money purchase expensive cleaners and it is better for me to use natural stuff over all the chemicals I use now.

I dont have any recipes but I would love to try some. Once in a while I use vinegar to clean things, but usualy only when I have lots of it and no cleaner handy. It does make quite a smell for a while though.

I don't "make" my own cleaners but I do use vinegar, baking soda and water for most of my cleaning needs.

I just started a discussion about this! Well about vinegar. I use vinegar as my everyday spray, 1:1 water and vinegar. You can use baking soda as a "scrubbing" cleaner. Mix water and baking soda to make a paste, apply to what your cleaning and wipe clean, if you have any of the residue from the baking sparay with vinegar, it dissolves it. I love using the "homemade" cleaners, the smell isn't bad and it's safe to use around my kids.
