America has been a male thing since the time of Abraham Lincoln, do you think there is a feeling in America that a Woman president is a recipe for insecurity?

American women are tough cookies. Or at least some of them are. Those aspiring to the top position have lost their sense of gender. That seems a necessary quality for America is a tough nation.
What Americans may not want is a feminine president, but if a candidate shows herself to be just as tough as the guys, I think Americans will go for it.

I dont believe that afraid would be the accurate word. I just think that society believes in the male as being a symbol of power, headship, and leadership. While women are labeled with more tender notations. Not to say that a female would do less of a bad job, or would not be accepted.. because the U.S. tends to open up to anything. But a woman president, is a concept that the american people have simply not warmth up to. Or a black president for that matter.
Not to say that those are my personal beliefs... for they are not...
I just think currently, these aspects are indelively stuck in the mental faculties of the present american people.

Women at the top of any venue is a cause for concern to many americans. We are the unspoken traditionalist who generally believe that a woman's place is not at the head of our country. That bothers me greatly because I was not raised to believe that women cannot rule as well as men. Qualifications and ability to perform should be more important in our society, but change moves slowly here. I could care less if the best qualified is a mouse, just as long as they possess the wherewithto to lead our country in the best possible manner. Egos shouldn't count in politics and war.

Women is believed to be subodinate to men. Women on top would mean a big slap on chauvanistic's face. It will surely stirs up a lot of criticism. MOreover, women is considered as weakling. They don't have the capacity to run a country where men usually dominating it. Men don't give justice to women at all. It so damn unfair. At least they should give women chance to rule a country and prove to them that they can do what men can, as well.
