Making referrals out of family members is SO hard! Here is what I did

I told my mom and other family members about this great website to get money back from shopping online, no body wanted any details, my mom calls me one day to make airline reservations for her cause she doesnt have a computer, after making the reservations I told her thanks for the free $12! she asked me what are you talking about? I said I got $12 for making your reservations using the rebate program I told you about a month ago. She wanted the $12. I told her NO but you can get it on your next trip, I gave her the info and she signed up asap. SOLD! I now have 2 referrals from my family and I am making $$$ cause they love shopping online. Check out the Mr Rebates banner on my profile. I think it works best for family members if you just SHOW THEM instead of telling them about any type of program. What do you think?

What is sweet? the mr rebates program or how I got my mom to sign up? Do you agree with me on how hard it is to talk to your family about programs?

Ur recruitment techniques with the family; u got 'em to sign up which helps them and helps u 2--Nice!
Family r always suspect when u present an offer, I agree u should show them results (bottomline if u will). If u show 'em the $ they r more likely to signup (what's n it for them). I'm gonna borrow ur method. LOL

I really dont like buying referrals, if the referrals are not active, my money is wasted

Selling anything to family is darn near impossible, I wouldnt bet my life on it, what about airline reservations? you dont even buy them online?
