Love Is...

Love is a choice we make whether we realize it or not. It is NOT that fuzzy warm feeling we get when we "fall in love".
Love actually hurts, which is why we grieve when someone dies or gets hurt. So many people are way off base, following the feeling and never actually loving.
Example:
Mary is with John. She knows all the best and worst about him after 5 years or so. Now, she sees Mark and gets that "fuzzy" feeling. She only sees Mark's body, smile, generosity, understanding, etc.
So, Mary compares John (good and bad) to Mark (only knows the good) and leaves John. Later she learns the good and bad points that Mark has and repeats the process. She never loved either.
We do this until we choose to love and deal with the good and hurt through the bad - forever.

This is nice. :) This is so true, Love is like any choices we make. :) I love the sample you have stated. It still ok to love, because love also will be the one that makes us whole. ;)
