Did you ever buy pirated CD's ?

Of course we all know that pirated CD's is a lot cheaper from the original one. I honestly say that I did buy a pirated CD (Am I gonna get arrested for saying this in public ?) Actually the main reason I buy that CD because I was looking for this CD and I have ask to almost official CD store in my town, and I couldn't find it. Suddenly when was in a shopping mall in my town, I saw it. There it was. I was wondering how come in dozen record stores they said it wasn't sold in my country but they can sell it in pirated. I was so curious..I buy the CD. Few month after that a friend of mine get the same CD as a gift from her auntie in Holland. So I borrow it. I want to see the different. But the most suprising thing is the pirated CD run on the CD player better from the original one. How can that happen ? Her CD was still brand new and my CD already had few scratch. What's that mean ? It's impossible to say that my pirated CD have better quality.
