How do I make changes here...

Can someone tell me how to make changes to my page on the far left hand side? I have finally figured out how to add some color. I have tried faq and can't find my answer there. I also don't know how to change my picture if I wanted to. Oh and one more thing, how do you put a picture next to a post? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
