They tore into them and there was paper everywhere!LOL I got the neatest present its a trash can that you walk up to it and it opens for you.LOL I love it. No more picking up the lid. So tell me about your Christmas. Lets share!

First of all a belated Merry Christmas...LOL. My Christmas was nice and peaceful and quiet, shared with my two kitties, Pyewacket and Kissy. I fixed up a nice Roast Beef dinner with homemade potatoes au gratin and green bean almondine, plus for dessert had made an apple/pear crumble...sure wished I had some of your whipped cream.
The best present I could have gotten was my Christmas tree, that gabs was the main instigator got going for me...she let me know other mylotters were involved to get me that tree, but don't know who and frankly it's driving me batty...so I guess that dance you and someonesmom did work to get that magical tree to me---I still have it and I can't believe how fresh it still is..as fresh as the day I got about three Fridays ago..it arrived by UPS. At this rate, I may just keep it up until March...hheeee..that's how fresh it still is..unbelievable...I call it my "love" tree as it was given to me out of love by some mylot friends here--I'm hoping to still get film somehow as I do want to photograph it....the kitties love to sleep under it...it's there "forest"

I know you're a great dancer, after your stint on 'Dancing With the Stars,' Terry, but I didn't realize my skills were so finely tuned, until this.;)
I'm still so happy about your tree, pyewacket, as mentioned in a 'discussion here.':)

My Christmas couldn't have been better if I wanted it to, and there are so many reasons for that! The first is that my husband is finally out of the military, and this was the first Christmas we have been home with family in 5 years now. So that was just wonderful. This is the first year that my son has really been excited about Santa, so that was awesome to see! We bought a new house this last year, so it was our first Christmas in a new home. I had a new baby girl in 2007 so it was my daughters 1st Christmas. My husband just got a good job being out of the military, and this year we could actually afford to buy for our kids and each other, without using the gift cards we used to get from family. We had a white Christmas! My daughter was baby Jesus at our Christmas Eve service at church. That was really an honor that she was the one they wanted out of all of the babies in the congregation! We had good get togethers with our friends that we missed while we lived out of state, and it is so great to be back near them as well. And last, but definitely the BEST of all... we didn't think my husband was going to be home for the holidays because of work. Well, he wasn't supposed to be, but he found out last minute that he would be able to be home for Christmas, and he flew home and surprised me on Christmas Eve! That was the best present anyone could ever ask for is just being able to be together for the holiday! So, all in all, with all of those things tied in together, it made for the best Christmas I think I have ever had!!!

Hi Terry,
Our Christmas (my daughter's and mine), was good overall. There's always just the two of us on Christmas morning, but we have a good time, opening our gifts, and stockings. Then we have a 'brunch' together, and usually go to one friend or another's home for dinner. This year we went to my friend's place. Her teenage daughter, and mine, are best friends. They had quite a large group there, but due to circumstances, we didn't end up eating dinner until 9:00 p.m. We exchanged gifts after midnight, and ate our dessert after 3:00 a.m. We arrived home around 5:00 a.m., exhausted. We won't forget this, anytime soon. We left on the 27th for our week at my sister's, which is an annual event, arriving home yesterday.
I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas. That trash can does sound neat.:)

Really like the idea of having a trashcan that opens the lid without any help from human hands. That's my kind of trashcan! Some of the lids get pretty nasty so it's nice not to have to touch it.
I had a good Christmas. Wasn't able to spend it with our kids since two of them worked and the third lives out of state and went to visit her in-laws in Colorado. Didn't get to see our grandkids either but we were all together Thanksgiving.
My husband had a beautiful necklace and earrings made for me. Too dressy to wear with jeans, bummer. One of our daughter's gave me a cordless phone. Yeah, I am bit behind the times. It's great and I love it.
We spent Christmas Eve with my brother and his family and Christmas Day with friends. It was nice.

We had a great Christmas. I loved watching my son open his gifts. I think you could have given him an empty box to unwrap and he would have been just as happy. He kept trying to unwrap other people's gifts too cause he loved unwrapping so much. It's always busy at Christmas time for us because we have so many places to go since my mom and dad and my husband's mom and dad are all divorced. And we have to go to my husband's grandmother's and my grandmother's too. But it was a nice christmas this year.

I had a wonderful Christmas and glad you did too. My kids who live just 20 miles from here decided to stay overnight so I got to see my two year old granddaughter open all her gifts! It was fantastic! I had almost a kitchen theme Christmas where they replaced all my baking pans and other cookware! We spent Christmas morning filling the garbage can with my old stuff! I actually asked for it because mine were all so old. Glad you are back!
