Homework #5
We all have a little inner voice/gut instinct that helps to guide us and warn us. Your assignment is to explore your inner voice/gut instinct and how much do you actually trust it/yourself. What sets it off? How often is your gut instinct correct? Do you follow your gut instinct or pass it off?
For me: My gut instinct is usually right on the mark. Sometimes I don't want to believe that what I feel is true. A person's body language or lack of verbal language will set off my inner voice which tells me to be cautious. Sometimes I just get the feeling that something is going to happen. Usually within 24 hours, something does happen. There have been a few times I have tried to pass off the feelings only to then be caught off guard. Most of the time, my instincts are right. I need to learn to pay attention to them so I can save myself a lot of personal hurt.

I have a gut instinct with people. My hubby used to work with a girl everyone thought the sun rose and set in her eyes. Since the moment I met her, I told my hubby to watch out for her. And you know what, I was right. She tried to ruin everyone in the company until the wised up and let her go. I tend to listen to my "inner voice" it usually keeps me out of harms way.

Boy, you called that one, now didn't you?
I have been listening to my inner voice a lot recently. My heart wants to lean one direction and my inner voice is telling me to be cautious. I know I should take things slowly. But it is like having a battle within. I want resolution NOW. My inner voice keeps telling me to not rush it and to be patient. arrgghh.
