I would like to hear peoples ideas on childrens birthday parties?
My daughters 1st and 2nd Birthdays were just parties at home - just in afternoon with some snacks and the kids all played outside etc... We will also be doing the same thing for my son for his 1st Birthday.
However My daughters 3rd Birthday is in April and we want to do something different this year. If any one has any ideas it would be great to hear them. Thankyou :)

I guess it depends on where you are in the world as to what is around.
You can always have a McDonalds party, where you pay so much per child & they get happy meals, an ice cream cake & there's the play ground outside the kids can play on.
Here in Oz there's a place called Wiggly worms, it's quite expensive but you can have parties there, fully catered & with a huge kids playground, all indoors, that the kids can use afterwards. There's another similar place called Super Play Cafe, the same deal it has slides, ball pitts & stuff for the kids - all fully catered!
Maybe you could have a picnic party, find a nice park nearby & have a kids party there, somewhere near play equipment & that would be something different.
I hope that's of some help but definitely look for places that cater for parties & have things for the kids to do!
Good Luck!

I live in Australia, and we have thought of macca's and also a playcentre party but at this stage there is travel involved for both - not much for McDonalds... our one doesnt do kids parties any more but the next town does (also hubby isnt keen on a McDonalds party just yet) and our closest playcentre is about 1hr drive away... we are supposed to be getting one in our town but nothing has been done yet - hopefully something will by April as that would be perfect :)
