What do you add to your canned tomatoe soup?

Do you add milk or water to it?Do you put something else in it like cheese whiz,croutons with mozerella cheese,cheese whiz,etc?I enjoy it with milk instead of water and add some cheese whiz to it also.My daughter told me today when i added some spoonfulls of cheese whiz in my tomatoe soup,"You don't eat it like that,your suppose to put the cheese on crackers!"lol,hahaha.

Oh she's quite the little comic,she always seems to have a smart anwser or funny remark about something and loves to make people laugh by being silly.I guess because everyone in this house must of been a clown in the circus in another life,we all like to laugh alot and be silly and funny.Laughter is the best medicine.My daughter goes through phazes when she becomes addicted to some kind of food and cheese whiz was one of them one time.She would eat it out of the jar with a spoon,haha.Now shes crazy over butter/margarine.I have to hide the tub because she in it with a spoon or trying to stick her finger in it for a swipe!Holy!Bread and butter,bread and butter,jeepers.I think she would be happy in the olden days,in prison where all they ate was bread and butter and potatoes,haha!They are soo funny when they are little,hehehe!

I just can't have tomato soup without a couple good old grilled cheese sandwiches. I should be mad at you PJ, now I want some and there is none in the house *sniff*

Oh, and it has to be Hoffman's Super Sharp cheese too! Although its expensive (Almost $7/lb, yipes!)

Opps!Hehe!Dont you just hate that,when your responding to a food topic and you get that craving for it and there is none!Grr!It seems every night this has happened to me,it doesn't help thoguh when it seems like at night where i am,there are alot of discussions about food,does it?Haha:)I just responded to a chinese food one and wow!Am i craving spring rolls and the stores closed!booohooo!Wha!!!"}

Tomatoe bisque?I dont think i saw or ever had that,hehe.I like the one by campbells soup,old fashion tomatoe soup with pieces of green onion in it and herbs and especially tomatoe and rice,slurrrrrp!

I don't put anything in my tomato soup but I just love tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. It reminds me of school lunches in elementary through high school. They had the best tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. I can't really seem to duplicate it. I don't know if it was the bread they used or the cheese but it sure tasted good.

Ohhhh!I rememeber those,they were so good.I even bought 2 bowls of soup and grilled cheese sandwhiches sometimes,lol.I couldnt get enough of it,especially the sheperds pie they made.

I make mine with milk also and I add something that other people think I'm crazy. I add sugar or sweetner to mine. My mom did this when we were kids and I just carried on with it. My kids, now adults, do the same thing. I can't eat it without sugar, it burns my throat, because to me it is too sharp. I have never tried it with cheese whiz but I will give it a try next time I eat it. Who knows, maybe I will like it.

Thats a good idea!I put some sugar in my spaghetti sauce because of the tomatoe juice being to sharp,i dont know why i never thought of putting osme in my tomatoe soup,hehe!Thanks for telling me!!!:):)Yummy
