Well, I fell so heavy after the series of parties and eating escapades during the holiday season and I feel guilty for eating so much, and now I reap the results of that abuse. I have decided to go eating fruits for the whole month of january, i will still be eating rice but I guess I will have to limit it for my own sake and eat less salty food. The holidays was a reason for eating so much and now I have no other excuse but to do as planned for its the best for me my health. I have also decide to drink more water coz i need it to clense my body from the toxic watses that I took in. Hmmm, wish me luck

Friend,I do wish you luck, and it sounds like a good plan to me. Maybe do something for some protein later on, so you do not lose muscle. I hope you get rid of the heavy feeling and limiting the salt is probably a really good plan. I would hope I could come up with as good a plan and the self discipline to follow it. I might use you for an inspiration.

Thats another thing for me to be very careful this year, i love eating salty foods and maybe that one factor to get rid or maybe slowly take out of my eating habits, i know its going to endanger my kidneys. Thank you for the reminder and have a nice day.

I eat most fresh fruit in the summer. Fruit is more expensive this time of year, but I do go on a fruit cleanup once in a while. I cannot eat too much salty food, even when there is no holidays, but my problem is I cannot eat too much food containing white flour. We had Chinese on New Years, there were lots of noodles and I was coughing up phlegm. I have the same problem with milk, but I do need milk and it is good for me, but I do not need to eat a whole lot of noodles or white rice. I have to cut down on potatoes and pasta as well. I also drink lots of green tea. That does help. I wish you luck.

Wow, i hope you have a great time cutting down pasta, its a lot of carbo. Here in the Philippines we are blessed with alomost a summer and its a blessing that we have cheap fruits so theres no excuse for me not to be able to buy it in a daily basis. I know its good for my body and I have to do something about it.

You can better try aurveda. Look for some information, they really have a good ideas and recomendation. Of course, it`s allways usefull to eat a fresh fruit as breakfast. But the diet must be balanced, not drastic. And drink more water. Good luck:)

a whole month? wow, that is a long time for a drastic dietary change. I do hope that it accomplishes what you set out to do without harming your health or energy. make sure to add at least some protein into your diet, please? maybe some tofu or legumes?

Eating fruits is good and it may be a way for you to cleanse your body but it needs to go with exercise. It's never enough to just think about the food intake/diet but most importantly you need to sweat off that toxic waste that you took in. Dance with the tune of 'Let's get physical, physical....' if you know what I mean.... (^_^) Who am I fooling, I better be telling myself this response that I am sending you! (^_^) hehehehe.... Yes, you're right of having more H2O intake. This will help your body a lot, according to what the doctors say....(^_^) Good luck to all those who are taking the same journey as you Zelmarq!

Drinking more water is great but you really need to eat more than just fruits & rice. You need to at least eat veggies too. It needs to be more balanced or you could make your self sick sweetie :)

Actually the past holidays does to me a lot of things. I eat too much and I gain weights. And then I got sick because I always drink softdrinks but lesser water. So I have tonsilitis and cough right now from the holiday. I hope I will be okay this week. For you, good luck.

hi zelmarq! ^__^ so how is your fruit diet going? i hope you're self-discipline is not letting you eat more rice and other fatty foods. LOL i also believe in the fruit diet method. its really good for the health in the way that it cleanses the body and it helps in reducing weight. one of our clients said that his mother would always use the fruit diet method once in a while to clean her body and that made her healthy and she's now 83 years old. and she doesn't require an eyeglasses because her vision is still clear. ^__^ i would also eat fruits in substitute of full meals when i feel like that i'm gaining weight. ^__^

Hi,there! I could understand your feelings.Sometimes I also just wanna take some fruits but not other things:) I think fruits are always good for our health,so it's wise to take some every day.I'm not sure whether it's enough to eat fruits only, but maybe it's a good way to adjust.LOL! So what fruit would you like to add in your diet? Hopefully you'll feel much better after this special diet for one week.Best wishes for the week! Thanks for the discussion and have a nice day^_^

Good Luck, I should probably think of doing the same thing... I am already drinking more water and there is always fruit in our house so I should start eating a bit more of it. Anyway - let us know how it all goes....
