I hardly put tags on my post unless its a discussion I start. If I am just replying to a discussion I wont tag it.

You can skip to that if you want. Actually, tagging does also play an important role in categorizing the discussion in an appropriate category.
Other than that, it would make the discussion more easier to search for the members here.
Anyways, we have the choice to skip or type them. :-)

i actually prefer to tag discussions as much as possible in hopes that people including myself searching for discussions they want to talk about can be found more easily and without sifting through a lot of nonsense to find it
