What's the proper action on Mylot Discussions?

What's your action on seeing an interesting mylot post?
Will you view the others' responses before you give your own one?
Or will you still view the others' response after you've given yours?
If you have viewed other people's points of view, will you help the post starter to reply to the people?
Or do you further post after you have found some interest topics?
Well, for me, I don't often view other people's comment in my interested topic, and even I would normally reply to one discussion when I find it interesting in my mailbox, and would normally don't have time to check out what the others are saying for the topic. I suppose this is not a proper way for the mylot discussion. What do you think?
Kind wishes and best regards,
Andy

I will view all the others' responses before giving my viewpoint!
And I think this is a proper way!

Hi UiVonLine,
Thanks for your opinion, that's a good attitude and suppose it shows more respect to the other people as well.
Kind regards, and enjoy mylotting.

Hi Andy,
Sometimes I read responses of others before I post a response because what I want to say might've already been said. Other times I just respond, and read responses of others afterward.
I don't think there's a more proper or less proper way of responding. It's up to you...how you feel at the time. *Keep smiling*

Hi Joyce,
Thanks for your reply, and yes, it's up to every one of us to respond to our discussion in the own way.
Thanks and I like your end word "Keep Smiling".

i think there's really no such thing as proper way andy. ^__^
we are free to do our own way here on myLot as long as we abide by the rules and regulations. we can respond in a discussion in any way we want as long as we don't offend anyone.
i don't think its bad that you don't read the other responses before you respond to a discussion. sometimes, there is really no need to read them. and most of the time, its better not to read other responses so that you can answer on your own words without being affected by the other responses. ^__^

Hello andyliuzn,
I always do the same thing like you do. I check my e-mail alerts and directly respond to the interested discussion. I seldom have time to check on others' responses and normally when I get the comment from the post starter, I will re-check the discussion and then only I manage to read what others have said about the same discussion. My time is limited here and I just hope that I have more time to read, respond and also post a new topic constantly.

I usually give my own right away w/o looking at others responses. It may taint my own that way it is truly my response how I feel.

I generally browse down to read other peoples comments before I post mine. This helps me to put me on the right page with the topic as there are sometimes a little confusion as to what the writer is actually talking about - also I try and keep my comments fresh that I am not repeating everything that another has written.
I have been away from MyLot for several months and I have noticed there is such a lot more interesting topics and interests on here from the last time I posted. Members are thinking more about their discussions and their answers which is making the time spent here more refreshing and rewarding.

Whenever I find an interesting topic I will reply it straight away. I will view the responses of my friends most of the time when they happen to be in the same page when I have a check of my response after sending it.
When I come across some topics which I am interested and need information from the responses, but not intend to reply yet, I do enjoy reading the responses and comments in order to learn more about those topics. I will do this only when I have plenty of leisure.

I only answer the question...
I never look at people answers before or after...
If it is a question which really interest me... I might look at the answers after posting mine.

I think if we didn't each do what we enjoyed here, we wouldn't stick around. *shrugs*
Personally it depends on the seriousness of the discussion. On less serious discussions, I might just reply without reading anyone else, and move on. However, I tend to reply to some kind of serious or in-depth stuff, and in those cases I will read what everyone else has to say before adding my response. The reason for this is to find out whether what I'm going to say has already been covered, and if it has, try to find a fresh perspective to look at the issue from, or at least a better way of explaining my view.
I do often comment on other people's responses to discussions, when I find them interesting. I don't see it as "helping the post starter reply" but rather as discussing with the other person. I might ask for further clarification of their view, or why they feel that way, or what led to them to that conclusion. I love actually having very involved discussions here, but for some people that would be boring. *shrugs*

Hi,Andy!
I prefer to read the first three to five responses, and then post my own response.I don't think I have enough time to read all the views from users so mostly I prefer to read the best one(if there has the best one).
