There are lot's of ways on how to play basketball,, but for me, the best thing that links 'em all, is giving out your best and have a good determination that you want to win in a game. Now, how do you win games? In here, I will put different ways to play basketball. The first is to concentrate on defence. offense wins games, but defense wins championships. good defending is key to finding good basketball sense, as you are playing the one your guarding, not the ball. Me, myself, prefer playing defense more. i only get points when I'm free of defenders, or getting trash baskets. Trash baskets can be called defense on your offense, and can be another way to play the game. Offense, another way to play the game, and another aspect of the sport wherein you think that if you score points more than the opponent, you win. that's always the offensive players' mentality, but there are other ways to play offense if you think that shooting the ball is hard. There's also passing the ball, assists. and the other, is by playing team game. giving picks, getting offensive rebounds, ball recoveries, etc. Playing certain 'roles', and playing them diligently, can be one of the points for you on becoming a good player. and doing it too good, is every coaches' dream of having as a player. Role players are too few nowadays, as everyone who plays the sport wants to have the limelight at them. but in reality, the people who plays under the radar are the ones who are most needed.

Well, i think its the dedication of the player and the love for the sport. Popularity is not the key to be the best. its how you play the sport. Look at Lebron James and the Big 3 of the Boston Celtics. They are the first one to arrive in practice and the last guy to leave the practice. that's a good athlete and that's why they are one of the best.

there are certain talents that are God-given. but basketball skills can be acquired and developed. i think starting young is a key to become the best player in the world. developing early the passion for basketabll. understanding the basics and logics of the game. train with the best coaches. play with the best players. learn from the best trainors. and practice and practice a lot.

To paraphrase that popular real estate secret, the key to being a great player is practise, practise, practise. The best best players in the world didn't get to where they are now by being lazy. Sure, talent plays its part, but that goes nowhere without persistence.
