The Kite Runner movie

I saw a preview for The Kite Runner- the movie. I loved the book. But I'm not sure if I will see the movie. I have seen lots of movies after reading the book, and with very few exceptions, the movie is a huge disappointment. So I'm not sure I will see the movie. What do you think? Did you read the book? Will you see the movie?

I have not seen the movie "Kite runners" but would like to because of the trailers I have seen. I have noticed that after reading a book and seeing the movie is a big disappointment. But I like to see the movies then read the books I'm not as disappointed. The movies are so totally different then the book.

I havent read the book, but I must admit the movie moved me to tears. It may not be what you expect since you've read it. But for me, the film is brilliant. I've seen it twice, and I will never get tired of seeing it over and over again.

I saw the movie and now I want to read the book. I know someone in my extended group has it. It's being passes around. I just need to find out which English speaker in town it is and then get on the waiting list for the book.
