In your opionin what is the best form of birth control? I have been on the depo vera. aka the shot for over two years. and while i like that i no longer have a period, and i only have to go every 3 months to receive it. I often wonder if theres anything better.

I am also on the shot. It is pretty nice that you only have to worry about it every 3 months and BONUS!!! you dont get your period. lol. But I am switching to the pills because the shot has made me gain weight. So I am switching the pills again in March. I hate the pills. I hate the fact of taking a pill every day but that is really the only other option I want to go with. I loved the patch when they had it out but people have been getting blood clots and what not so where I am from they dont supply it anymore.

I got "spayed." I know I don't want any kids ever, and due to health reasons, I can't be on the birth control pill. Since there is no other form of birth control as reliable as the pill, I chose to get a tubal occlusion (blockage) done about 7 months ago. I'm very happy with my choice. It's safe and non hormonal.
But if you want kids, I wouldn't get it done as it's not reversible.
