Use of VHS, VCD, DVD etc

I think these devices are very bulky and at times give loads of problems.
Recently, i been thinking of replacing them with FLASH ,
though this has it own problems. But it is more handy ,less bulky and less space occupier. What do think ?
Can the FLASH be modified to take-up this function ?

There are limits to what you can do with that program... unless you're referring to flash drives... which have their own issues. Like certain models above a particular size causing your computer to spazz until it cooks itself. I don't think DVD is a bulky medium at all though. Really though, everything has problems once in a while, everything, there isn't a problem free thing on the planet.

Actually flash is very limited. It's not for the long movies type.
