One of us could well be the descendent of Jesus or the saints

I know, I know... the phenomenan of Da Vinci Code is over, but I just had a dream last night about it.
Is it possible that Jesus was married and Mary Magedelene was pregnant during Jesus' cruxification? If it is so, His descendant could be among us?
How about the saints? The followers of Jesus? if Jesus is unlikely to be married, I am sure his followers are. Most likely they were married. Does anyone of you know your ascendant? You may well be linked to one of the saints? Anyone here know any descendant of the saints?

Well, I would disagree with Jesus having any descendants. However you do make a good point about his followers. It is true that most likely his disciples and Apostles had children, I believe Peter was married. However because they were Jewish is most likely that any descendants would still be there in the Middle East, so I doubt if I would be linked to any of them.

That's an interesting notion, I must admit. I couldn't figure out why it was so offensive to some to think Jesus may have married Mary Magdalene. I mean, what would be so horrible about that? There are ways to have your DNA tested these days to find out who some of your anscestors are. Who knows, you probably right; there must be at least one out of all the myLot members who's a direct descendant of Jesus!
