it's in fact a big pork ball stewed with vegetable which is a popular dish in the yangtse delta.lion's head is the literal translation of its chinese name shizi(lion) tou(head).

here in the Philippines i will recommend to try our local dish such as Pancit Canton, Pancit Lucban,Sinigang, Adobo, Sisig and my very own chicken barbecue

I would let them try native foods, or exotic ones that can only be found in my country :) That way, you also promote your country, right? :)
