Which do you prefer being rich or being poor here on Earth?

Unless you are at the extreme end of being filthy rich or way down the poverty cycle, being rich or poor is a relative thing. For most people, it is more a question of whether they have enough, and that ties in very much with expectation. Someone with lots of money can still feel that he is poor and unhappy because no amount of money he gets can fulfill his insatiable wants and desires, while another person who earns just enough to sustain himself daily may feel very happy and contented, because his craving for needs are realistic to his situation. I am neither rich nor poor, but I am happy with my situation because I am usually happy, and continue to live in peace and contentment. I already feel very blessed compared to those who are worse off than me. God has always provided for my needs, and I am always thankful for that. I do not need to have more than what I already have. I am always mindful that I should store up treasures in Heaven rather than on Earth, because our earthly existence is but a relatively short one.

See, people dont actually want to be poor or rich. All they want is to have whatever they desire (and in today's world, only money can get that for one). I think I won't compare myself being rich or poor. I would like to be a satisfied man. Satisfaction is the most difficult thing to achieve.And if ever a man achieves it, he will never complain for being rich or poor. In fact he will have no desires at all. So if I ever have to wish to be something, I would chose to be a satisfied man.

filthy rich...being poor is a course...yeah...believe me...people who were born rich are lucky ones...that's why i believe there's no such thing as equality here on earth...if you are poor you are unlucky...

Well sometimes i would like to be rich so i can buy the things i want and to help others with my money. But on the otherside i'm not poor at all and satisfied with the life i have. Sometimes money is very welcome because to pay of debt of my parents but that would be the only reason to have it. Let's just say i'd rather be between rich and poor.

I would prefer to be rich who wouldn't? I know how much it is to stay alive and being alive means just barely making it living day by day paycheck by paycheck that is not what most human want they want to be able to have a little extra to be comfortable...I don't need to be super rich but I do need to be comfortable...

I've been middle class and poor; I have friends and relatives from the very rich to the very poor... so far, I haven't seen much difference in the people themselves, just the way they live. I will say I like being in the middle class more than being poor, but I'm not any more or less happy.

Of course I prefer being rich. I don't even think anyone would prefer being poor. But definitely not everyone is rich and also not everyone is poor. I guess being poor is just a matter of fate. Like when your parents is poor, then you are poor financially. But there's always a way to get out of poverty by working hard, have faith and perseverance. For those who are rich. There's no doubt about it that they can't afford nice clothes, shiny cars and whatsoever. But then, there's always a point that when you already achieved what you want, when you already have all you need and for some, when they already have everything the world has to offer.. I always wonder and question them is "Are they still happy" . Can richness really make a person happy? To the point that there's no need for them to work for something hard because they can already have it with just a swipe of a credit card or a check. - I definitely want to be rich. I hope to be. But not to the point that there's no more need for me to strive to get what I want. I want to be rich to support my family, buy my needs and maybe even be of help. I may not become an elite meaning the super rich but at least in my life, there's still something to strive for. Something that motivates me to work even harder. Best of luck!

Of course,I prefer to be rich.Beigng poor has its own disadvantages and I believe one of them is not being able to fulfil your wishes.When you are rich,then you can live a draem life.But,some of you guys may ask the moral side.But let me explain,what is the wrong in wishing for a good life if we are ready to work for it.Thats the main point you have to work for your life and there should be no shortcuts taken to success As they say God rewards only those who help themselves.I believe that is true.Given a choice I would be rich rather than being poor,and of course,I would help the needy with my money.One more thing I dont wish to be super rich

Hi, I want to be comfortable not worrying about the next bill. Would like to have money but not forget who I am. Would love it if their was a class for people who have gotten rich and lost the true roots of themselves!But, I have a son and hubby and would love to take stress off hubby and wear it evenly. Definently think life would be more comfortable.

I think if i would rich i give my all money to some poor children. this is my aim. and being poor is not bad thing.

well i dont want to become to rich but definentaly not poor because it sucks, i just want enough so i can live a normal life =P hehe

i wouldnt want to be either, i jsut want to be average, with enough money to support myself, but not so that i dont need to work, because having too much time on your hands can be very boring. and having a job will make u freinds and have fun

ideally i would like to be rich so that me and my family have no worries when it comes to paying bills, and we could prob enjoy life better without the stress, however not being wealthy has taught me things most wealthy people i see don't have and that is manners and respect for people, and a better understanding of people.
