Regular nail polish or fast drying?

I use the fast drying like Express Finish from Maybelline. I don't like to have to wait a half a day to have the polish dry. Which do you prefer? Do you think the regular is longer lasting or about the same as the express finish?

Dual Hand/Feet nail polish dryer - BELSON Pro. Dual Hand and Pedicure Nail Dryer 9 Watts
I use both. I have one of those nail dryers that seems to be that I have had forever. I think they work great. I spend about 15 minutes with it and the polish dries pretty fast. You can use it for feet as well as hands.

I've never used a fast drying finish. What I do is paint my nails, two coats and sometimes three, just before going to bed. By morning they look great and are totally dry. I'm always doing something with my hands throughout the day so polishing them during the day would be dangerous. These 2 or 3 coats will last as long as two weeks without any touch up.

I certainly understand. Guess I need to buy some of the fast drying and see if I like it. Thanks.

i'm not really aware of nail polish brands, which brand is better and which is not. i usually buy nail polish according to the packaging. ^__^;; since there are many nail polish brands displayed in malls and stores, i would compare the packaging and i would pick the brand with the nice packaging, color and print in the bottle. LOL so far, the brands that i have bought dries up to 15minutes. it takes long but i can take it. ^__^;; and it really depends on how i take care of my polish if it would last for a week or only for days. ^__^

I normally just buy fast drying. But I don't paint my nails much so it don't matter much.

I also like it cause my daughter paints her nails. And you know children they can't sit still very long. So definately the faster the better.

I like fast drying - I don't have time or patience to wait for the stuff to dry. Although I do think that the regular type does last longer.

I think you might be right about it lasting longer..it has more time to set and become hard! Thanks for posting!

Definitely fast drying. Like you said, I just don't have time to sit and blow on them for an hour. I don't polish mine a lot any more and that is one of the reasons. The other main reason is that my hands are in water so much with cleaning and such It just doesn't last. Some times a top coat helps but it just seems such a waste of time anymore. Guess I am getting old. LOL Hugs
