Writers: Where do you get paid to write?

For those of you who get paid to write, where do you do it and what is the average amount you make per project or piece? I already write for HubPages, Helium, Helium Marketplace and Associated Content. I am looking for someplace that pays a bit better. The Helium Marketplace has made me over $200 for 4 articles but lately their prices have dropped big time and AC never gives me over $4 an article. HubPages uses my AdSense and Amazon Associate accounts to earn me money but it's not much. Any ideas on sites that pay well to writers?

I haven't tried Helium. I signed up and looked around but never submitted anything.
I have written 4 articles for Associated Content but have never been paid over $5 for an article.
I have recently started writing for Review Stream but I am not sure I like it yet, the minimum payout is high and I haven't personally heard anyone that has been paid yet. I am sure there are, I just haven't heard much about the site.
I have a site bookmarked called Daytipper, I haven't had the chance to look at it much but when I first came across it, it looked interesting.
Other than Mylot, ReviewStream and Associated Content I haven't really written anywhere else. I am not looking to make a living doing it, just a little spending cash, so I tend to wait and write about things that I know rather than spending hours on research for a small amount of money.

I'll take a look at those other two, thanks. I've basically given up on AC, I had almost $2.00 in page views to be paid this month and all of a sudden it was gone and I was down to $0 but they never paid the $2. It's only $2 but I thought that was really shaddy business.

Well I am making money blogging and writing for the websites you have already tried. I also write for ehow, howtodothings.com, shared reviews, review stream, and squidoo. As well as Triond which was mentioned by someone else. No one pays a lot for articles on the web, especially if you are looking for upfront payment. However, if you are looking to build a good source of passive income, all of these can do that. It takes time, perserverence, and of course a lot of writing.

I blog as well and earn a bit but not even enough for payout anywhere yet. I like HubPages and Helium for passive income but I agree it does take time and a lot of writing. Thanks for the tip.

I write for Triond. I made $356 in my best month, so I believe that is way more effective than any of your guys publishers. Keep in mind I made about $320 of that on my best 5 articles.

It depends if you just want to write about what you want to write about or if you want to write on assignment. I have a few projects that I got through oDesk. Here is a referral:

Check them out, you will not be sorry.
