I don't think that Tinky Winky is gay. The person that is inside the Tinky Winky costume is actually a professional ballet dancer, that is why Tinky Winky wears the TUTU(sp) and dances around all the time.

My granddaughter watches these guys all the time, when I watch all I can do is laugh they act so weird and sing the strangest songs, but she likes them, I don't see the educational quality associated with these guys and feel their English language is very poor, what happened to Sesame Street where the kids learned how to count in the normal manner??

I think that there are better shows for kids than teletubbies.

i agree you don't understand what they are saying
and kids pick up on things and then they will start talking just like them.

I let my son when he was 1 watch the teletubbies it was our every morning thing. He loved Poe. He would sing the song befor the show started and dance infront of the t.v.
I don't think anything is wrong w/ the teletubbies they teach kids different things. My son is 9 now and still remembers watching teletubbies.

My oldest daughter (who is 9 presently) absolutely LOVED the Teletubbies and it was a show that I didn't mind watching. One particular episode was of a little girl and her tap shoes--my daughter wanted her own tap shoes after that and ened up taking dance for several years before choosing girl scouts over it. I see nothing wrong with watching that show---its much better than some of the video games or other shows that kids could watch. My oldest daughter didn't have a bit of problem learning how to talk and didn't talk like the Teletubbies at all. She may have repeated things that they said (and to this day, before going to bed, she comes up to me and says 'Night mom...I love you....BIG HUG' and Big Hug was a Teletubby phrase---I couldn't imagine myself saying, 'no Jess, don't say that---its bad---much worse things she could have picked up to say). So for my experience, I think that the Teletubbies are OK in my book :-)

My two year old daughter loves the Teletubbies and I think that it's a cute show. My daughter has learned some of the colors by watching them and also she gets some exercise by imitating them when they dance around. Sure beats just letting her sit and stare at some useless cartoon, at least they get them moving around.

I have a little sister who likes to imitate their gestures and songs. Maybe it help her imaginatitive skills.
When I turned off the TV, all in her mind is that cute teletubbbies.
I guess there's no harm from them to watched.
