I do not have any plants, because my cats eat them, and I am worried that they are dangerous. I received a catus plant for xmas and thought, great my cat is not going to chew on that with all those needles. The other day I caught my cat rubbing on the needles. I don't think he chewed the plant, but is this plant dangerous?

Cactus is fine - lilies BAD...
Cats will chew on sharp things, don't know why, but since they like to chew on things like broom straws I can see them chewing on cactus needles.
so, alls good, just put the cactus where he/she can't fall or step on it.

I don't know for sure but my partners mum has 3 cat and lots of cactus plants and they are all fine, I doubt they would chew on the cactus as this would surely hurt, they probably just like the scratch it gives them when they rub against it.

well that is good to know as I have not had any cactus plants before. like I said my cats eat every plant that comes into my house. my husband buys me roses for our anniversary and i cannot even have them in the house. I wake up in the morning and the roses are all over the place. : )
