Come on, Metallica fans, which song or solo is the best? I admire Enter Sandman!!! And the best solo: Fade to Black How about you???

fade to black by far is my favorite song ever made by anyone.. i can play all of it and IM SO GLAD I CAN SO I CAN LISTEN ANYTIME I WANT!! ahahaha!! good disscussion =] best song and solo in my opinion.. next solo would be "The Darkness Fast Solo" in One next best song is either "No Leaf Clover" or "Whiskey in the Jar"

And how about the solo in "Master of puppets"? It's my next best solo and the next best song ... "Unforgiven". Love it. BTW, I can listen to "Fade to Black" at anytime too! That's the first song I've learnt to play (on guitar off course).

i think the best solo is the one from Nothing else matters...i simply love this rock balade..some good work is in Enter Sandman and Whiskey in the Jar. Untill it Sleeps, The Unforgiven II and Mama said have their special thing too.

'Fade to black' for me too...although its more fitting to judge a band of metallica's stature based on their complete albums rather than one particular song...all of their earlier albums are classics!

I forgot to point out their collaboration with the San Francisco Orchestra(??)...'The Call of Ktulu' was really good...S&M was just driving the point home that they're kickass no matter what.

Sad But True is the best song to me. The riffs are so heavy and just makes you wanna bob your head to the beat. The best solo, Master of Puppets. Both of the solos on that song are awesome.
