Here goes...When there becomes a new president will they pull the troops out of afganistan? Should they pull them? How many of you think that the troops are still needed over there? Or would they be put to better use back home or some wheres else? I think they should come home. I don't think they are making progress over there except killing of our troops and american troops...they need to come home

Our Troops need to be brought home. We are over there and dying with little to no progress. But in the real world we are not getting out any time soon.

First and foremost, when Bhutto was killed at the end of '07, Bush woke up with a headache named Pakistan. The war in Afghanistan hinges on Pakistani stability. If Pakistan implodes, all the troops currently in Afghanistan will be cut off. The nearest airbases are Turkey to the west and Korea to the east...Bush's best option is to pull out before he realizes a logistical nightmare. Not saying we couldnt get them out, but it sure will be harder. Whoever the next president is, the killing field will continue. Not one political candidate has said shiit about Afghanistan. The madness won't stop until we hold all leaders accountable for the crimes against humanity that they create.
