Hello the oldies but goodies songs are also called the "standards" because they set the trends or whenever songs are made, they are the benchmark of the people in the music industry... all i can say is nothing beats them. :D

Oldies but goodies. Oh yes I love oldies songs. Alot of them are so well written and have a really good beat to them. Some of them are even better that the ones that we have today.

My dad has lots of records of those oldies but goodies love songs. Me and my sisters "grew" up with it. We used to sing it with our father every now and then and we didn't get bored because for us, old love songs are beautiful and their lyrics have deep and nice meanings.

Yes I love listening to oldies but goodies. They have more meaning to them. Sometimes I'll listen to my collection of old tapes and think about what I was doing when that song came out. Old songs are the best !!!!!!!!!

well, i sort of grew up with old music too. 60's, 70's and 80's music to be exact. i especially love 70's music because most of the songs there was created for a purpose and a "cause". the lyrics were all well thought-off.
i have a question though, what year was the song "hopelessly devoted to you" by olivia newton-john released? i love that song so much even though some people say that it is corny
