I use my Cell Phone (Nokia N70 Music Edition) to connect my Laptop Computer to surf internet using GPRS. The thing is that I spend around 4-6 hours on internet everyday with data exchange of about 1.3GB per month. I have to charge my cell phone twice a day since using GPRS eats a lot of battery.
Am I killing my Cell Phone by accessing GPRS for so long everyday? Does it actually harm my Cell Phone?

It wont harm the cell phone itself, but it does have some effects on the long-term life of the battery, I'm in a similar situation, I use my phone connected to the PC as a modem, and i charge it while im using it, because i had to much hassle of the battery going low and not knowing, but the constant charge/discharge of the battery does harm the battery istelf, A way to help though is every now and then let the battery completely discharge and give it a full recharge, and this will help the battery, but using the battery in this way does have an effect on it.
