What does everyone think about snakes?

I love snakes theya re low maintenence. Really cool looking and fun to jsut hold. I don't understand why so many people are scared of them they are harmless for the most part... I mean i don't go out and pick up wild poisonous snakes. I jsut wanna see what you guys think!
