Hard water

I have really hard water in my house. I have tried using different things in my laundry . When I was my clothes they come out orange and brittle . I dont know what else to use. I have used iron out, fabuloso, works, bleach for colors and regular . I am at a loss. Anyone have any suggestions? I also have a filtration system but it dont seem to help.

I love baths, so when I encounter a household that has hard water, I always put a healthy amount of baking soda in the water so I won't dry out too bad. That may help.

Thats a problem. Hard water not only craetes problem with poor washing of cloths but also damages the washing machines.
If you want to try and tackle hard water and limescale problems, you can use either a water softener system or try one of the much cheaper electronic water conditioning devices.
