Are the prices on pizzas going up

Remember a day not far away when i was at my favorite pizzeria, Amigo's that they had put up papers they got from suppliers. It seemed that many of the groceries that they use to make pizzas are going to be more expensive for them to purchase and as such, the prices of their pizzas may increase or have already been increased. Is this something you have notices or majbe something that doesnt addect the pizzerias you normaly go to.
As for Amigo's, i think their prices already have gone up, not much but still an increase that the wallet notices.

Well if the price of the cardboard for the boxes, the ingredients , the electricity for the ovens & the employes wages all goes up due to inflation then the price of the pizza has to as well. The company can't just eat those losses. They have to pass them on to the consumer.

What hasn't gone up? When you think about it, everything that goes into a pizza has gone up, from the flour for the dough to the cheese, tomatoes and everything else for the sauce and all the other toppings you may choose. Soon the pizzerias will be forced out of business like so many other types of businesses because nobody can afford gas in their car to go get a pizza and forget about having it delivered!

I think the prices of everything is going up. Since gas prices are so high it cost more for everything. Costs the farmer more to plant and raise the food. Costs suppliers more to make and ship the food. So it costs us more to buy and eat the food.Seems to me alot of the pizza place are making smaller pizzas with less toppings that they can offer at a cheap price. Like pizza huts new mia pizzas for 5.00. We just don't eat pizza as often as we used to. We rarely eat out any more,it is cheaper to cook at home.

Yea, its true that it costs less to make your own pizzas. sometimes we also made homemade pizzas and ovenbaked them, turned out real nice and tasted good. Still its not the same thing as when a pizzeria makes them, but hey its nothing bad with making your own. Thanx for your responce.
