Do you believe in Evolution???

i believe evolution is about adaptation or having adjustments on the environment we exist.for example why there are so-called polar bears in polar regions and common bears in not so cold regions? why there are unique species found in Palawan Philippines and the Caribbean that you can not found anywhere else? i believe these unique species are evolved based on their present environment because if not there are no such variety of species..bears will have the same color which is brown and no polar bears will exists..do you think so?
