Mylot has really increased my typing speed!

Hello subha12 Yes mylot increases our typing and there is no doubt in it. But spending more time on mylot has some disadvantages too like -- eyes problems, health problems and so on .. but mylot is addictive and it's really hard to get away from it. It's a real cool place to make friends and to have fun :)

My typing speed has increased but not by much. I still use two fingers mostly and my accuracy can be really bad sometimes. I'm glad we have the ability to preview our post before we submit it. I know I forget sometimes in the heat of the moment.

well, i think constant use of the keyboard makes you very familiar with it and thus, making your fingers getting used to the locations and places of each letter so when you want to type something, your fingers would know where to go and what to push without you looking at the keyboard. ^__^ i can only say that you are myLotting 24/7, typing 24/7 and that serves as your practice and your typing speed increased. good for you subha! ^__^

It probably has given you time to practice just by responding. It another good thing that mylot has done besides letting people from all over the world become friends!

in reality i didn't notice events like you described linked to mylot community!!such as i don't know if my speed typing is faster than in the past..surely i think that people type on the keyboards very slow and posting here much topics or answers will improve their speed even because if you use windows or graphic interface of your os your attitude is too controll all over your computer with mouse than keyboards!!:)

For me it not only helped me update my typing speed (last I typed was when I was in Pre University) but also helped me augment my idioms and phrases collection, besides proverbs collections. In nutshell, it has equipped me with better stuff of my english knowledge.

Well, between being a member here in myLot, and being a calltaker at work, and putting in numbers and addresses my typing speed has increased a lot. Being here though is great as it can help in more ways than one. And when you type faster, you can answer more discussions in a shorter time. So Good things all around.

Oh Yes! Not only you can improve your typing, you can also improve your English as well as your reading speed. At the same time, you can also improve on your general knowledge since there are lots of topics that are being posted here daily. Not a bad place to be after all ya.

Yes mylot is a great way of practicing your typing speed. I haven't had much practice of typing but mylot has revived it. It also helps me keep my brain working, thinking of discussions to post and if the replies I will submit is really proper for that discussion or if it is right.

I think that I have increased my typing speed, alothough that has not improved my spelling one bit. I tell you that being able to answer questions a little more free flowing than at work or other places has its advantages.

That is a truth. Since we spend a lot of time here on mylot for writing our discussions with other mylotters, we get much more experience on typing. I come here on mylot only for one week more, but my typing speed increases rapidly and even make a big surprise to my boyfriend.

hi subhakutti... yes ofcourse you are right.posting comments in mylot will certainly increase your typing speed. if you really want to be excellent in typing you can download a free software named TYPING SPEED .you can simply increase your typing speed within few days. its a very effective tool. in outsourcing companies they recommend this tool to increase the speed of data entry employers inorder to acheive good typing speed with in a short time . also i need to tell you one thing. i dont know whether you noticed it or not. posting comments in my lot is also enhancing our ability to think fast.

I have always been a pretty goof typer, but with me being on myLot I have been more careful with my typing and accuracy while still getting faster with my typing. It really is one of the advantages; we get a lot more practice with typing and general grammar and English skills.

It happens to me too. Before it takes me a while to think before typing, now I can type faster. My grammar not improve much though. I can say I can type 'converstaion' english better than before..
