are you cleaning the nails with sergical spirits first and applying a good base coat? At beauty school (it didn't work - I'm not the most georgeous thing on the planet) we were told that the stronger colours can cause discolouration so always use a good base first and a good topcoat will help prevent chipping and flaking. Sometimes the polish is just not good, but revlon is usually one of the better ones. good luck

In the past I have been told that when nail polish turns your nail yellow, you nail was not able to breathe. Your nails need oxygen and that is why they told me that you need to take the polish off and let your nails breathe, don't always wear colored polish. It has something to do with the colored polish, especially the darker colors. You need to put a coat or two of clear polish on your nail before you put a color coat and this will help keep your nails from turning so yellow.
